Meet DSTN network in CARLA 2022 !
The Digital Science and Technology Network DSTN will participate in CARLA 2022 the Latin America High Performance Computing Conference in Porto Alegre, Brazil, from September 26-30, 2022
CARLA is an international conference that provides a forum to foster the growth and strength of the High Performance Computing (HPC) community in Latin America through the exchange and dissemination of new ideas, techniques, and research in HPC and its applications areas. It started in 2014.
CARLA has become the flagship conference for HPC in the region. They invite the international community to share its advances on both HPC and HPC & AI (convergence between HPC and Artificial Intelligence) as those two key areas are becoming the predominant engine for innovation and development.
They expect contributions from faculty members, researchers, specialists, and graduate students around the world.
Meet the DSTN members in the Panel “HPC actions in Africa and Latin America” on September 27th, 2022
Objective of the panel :
To present actions that are being developed in Africa and Latin America and explore lines of actions that foster the collaboration between high computer centers and national networks in both regions.

- 14:40 – 15:00 Carla Osthoff, Researcher at National Laboratory for Scientific Computing (LNCC-Brazil).
- 15:00 – 15:30 Round of questions to participants about next steps/possible collaborative actions.
