Cela permettra de comprendre pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment ces processus et de mieux pr\u00e9voir leur \u00e9volution, leurs cycles de r\u00e9troaction et leur influence sur les changements climatiques en Afrique de l&rsquo;Ouest. M\u00eame si des \u00e9tudes avanc\u00e9es ont \u00e9t\u00e9 men\u00e9es dans le monde entier, nous ne pouvons pas transposer \u00ab\u00a0aveugl\u00e9ment\u00a0\u00bb les mod\u00e8les d\u00e9velopp\u00e9s \u00e0 l&rsquo;Afrique de l&rsquo;Ouest sans effectuer un examen et une analyse solides. Par exemple, dans les climats temp\u00e9r\u00e9s, la temp\u00e9rature du sol est le facteur le plus important d&rsquo;\u00e9mission de CO2 dans l&rsquo;atmosph\u00e8re, alors qu&rsquo;il semble que ce soit l&rsquo;humidit\u00e9 du sol dans certaines zones cultiv\u00e9es du climat soudanien (Afrique de l&rsquo;Ouest). Par cons\u00e9quent, il est urgent de d\u00e9velopper des m\u00e9thodes appropri\u00e9es et adapt\u00e9es pour d\u00e9tecter, analyser et suivre les facteurs des variables climatiques en vue de la pr\u00e9diction et des actions \u00e0 prendre pour un environnement durable. \u00c0 cette fin, GWAS combinera des m\u00e9thodes\/outils de math\u00e9matiques fondamentales\/appliqu\u00e9es afin d&rsquo;apporter une contribution pertinente aux sciences atmosph\u00e9riques. En ce qui concerne les math\u00e9matiques fondamentales, le projet utilisera l&rsquo;analyse g\u00e9om\u00e9trique et les transform\u00e9es en ondelettes, tandis qu&rsquo;en ce qui concerne les outils de math\u00e9matiques appliqu\u00e9es, l&rsquo;apprentissage automatique et l&rsquo;apprentissage profond seront utilis\u00e9s, ainsi que l&rsquo;analyse topologique. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ces outils, GWAS suivra le cours des principaux facteurs et mod\u00e8les en utilisant onze (11) ann\u00e9es de mesures in situ (acquises dans le cadre d&rsquo;un programme de recherche international).
