The African Center of Excellence for Population Health and Policy (ACEPHAP) is a World Bank-supported center that aims to strengthen interdisciplinary approaches and promote population health outcomes through training and research for evidence-based policymaking in West and Central Africa.

The center's mission is to produce skilled human resources for population health, with a focus on research to achieve sustainable development by linking research findings to policy implementation. This will be achieved through partnership between different sectors of the community, public health, industry, academia, healthcare and local government entities.

ACEPHAP focuses on sustainable development 3 (SDG 3) health concerns: maternal health, child health and infectious diseases (malaria, TB and HIV) with a particular emphasis on increasing human resources for health and translating research into action (TRIPs) for proven interventions.
